This magical Lake House complete with a matching boat shed is literally a stone's throw from the Lake.  It sits proudly on its site taking in all the glory of the native life, water views and natural bush scenery. 

The clients did not want something that stood out, instead were seeking a home that seamlessly fits into the neighbourhood.  The traditional style using white gable features and grey schist columns, along with the wrap-around deck makes this home look as though it has always been there.  It is a modern home though, packed with all the features you would expect for luxury modern living such as the impressive louver roof and outdoor dining area heated by a gas fire.

The Lake House is stacked with bedrooms for extended family and friends, a home that will see some great times ahead.  Carefully laid out, the interior is set out so that all living rooms and bedrooms have framed views of the lake.  Six Squares Architecture kept the best space upstairs for the Master Bedroom with its own balcony and grand ensuite.  

The Lake House entry is raised above the living area allowing you to see over the furniture out to the lake.  Stepping down into the kitchen, dining and living areas brings you into one of the most amazing entertaining spaces you could have. The 3.0m stud and pitched grooved ceilings with feature rafters, give a large and grand feeling.  With oversized 2.5m high joinery and the feature gable window at the end, you cannot help but be wander out to the exquisite lake view!
